The process by which the grease on a sheet that has reached the desired thickness by hot rolling is removed from the sheet by hydrochloric acid which is called acid washing. Acid sheets are produced from black sheets (hot-rolled sheets). During this process, the front surface is washed with acid and the surface carbons of the sheets and some impurities are removed. Eventually, the appearance of the sheet becomes a bit shiny and it is similar to the oil sheet (cold rolled). These sheets are usually produced in two forms of rolls and sheets (fabric and shear) and in those rolls are usually produced in two widths of 1000 mm and 1250 mm. It is important to know that these sheets are usually produced with 1.5 to 6 mm thickness.
Iran Forming the acid sheets has good quality and quite competitive price.
